CONCRETE WEIGHT CALCULATOR

CONCRETE VOLUME CALCULATOR

This simple tool helps to verify the precise weight of 1 cubic meter of fresh concrete, its precise water/cement ratio and the expected weight of a cubic or cylindric sample perfectly costipated.

Just remember that 1 m3=1000 liters. So try to get hold of the percentages of each aggregate, that will help you to define the exact weight, keep in mind that 1000 lt. is your goal.

PRESS RESERT TO CLEAN ALL THE CELLS YOU'LL NEED TO FILL UP

WHAT TO TYPE IN

  • The weight of cement, filler, fly ash/silica fumes, water and admixtures under the column KG.

  • The liters of each and any component including the air under the column LITERS.

  • The density of each and any component in gr/cm3

  • The umidity and the absorption of each and any aggregate (%)

Remember to use the comma (,) for the decimals and not the dot (.).

When you get the mix design of the specific concrete with the density of each single material you'll be always able to deduct the real weight of the concrete; that will help you checking the batch conformity by the delivery and the accuracy of the sample compaction.

Read the post "concrete weight" and "concrete compaction" for more details.

CONCRETE VOLUME CALCULATOR

This other simple tool is designed to help you quickly figure out the volume of concrete you'll need to pour. There are same sample figures that can resamble most of the elements which are normally made out of concrete.

Remember the number you get is just the raw volume without taking into consideration reinforcement (which must be deducted) and tollerances and it is referred just to the simple element you see in the sample picture.
